Position the tongs before turning anything on, since two points need finding rather than one. The shaft is detailed rather than smooth, so expect texture on the way in. It runs on two AAA batteries. Use water based lubricant. Wash it with warm water and mild soap after use, dry it fully, and keep the battery compartment dry, taking the cells out if it is going to sit unused for months. Three inches is the insertable idea rather than a headline, so this is a compact toy by design.

A rabbit gives you one external arm you have to line up precisely. Two tongs cover more ground, which makes the position far less critical and the toy much easier to get right first time.
