Leg Avenue Sheer Stocking with Back Seam Lace Top

Two details, working together. A lace top band holds the stocking high on the thigh, and a back seam runs the length of the leg below it. That combination is the reason this style has been in production for decades and shows no sign of stopping.

Available in Black and Red, which are two very different propositions: black disappears into an outfit and lets the seam do the talking, red becomes the outfit. Either way, wear these where the back of the leg is visible, and check both seams are straight before you go. The lace band grips on its own, so no belt is required. Gather each stocking at the toe and roll it up the leg, hand wash in cool water, and lay them flat to dry.

A lace top that actually stays put is not a given at this price. This one is wide enough to grip properly, which is what lets the seam stay straight instead of spiralling as the stocking slides.
