Rouge Anaconda Lead with Metal Chain

A leather lead running into a metal chain with a single trigger hook on the end, from the Anaconda line in black, burgundy and red. The trigger hook is the part that matters day to day: it clips on and off one handed, which a spring clip does not.

Hold the leather end and let the chain hang rather than keeping it taut, because the weight of the chain does the work of a lead on its own. Clip the trigger hook to a collar ring or a harness ring. Never pull sharply on anything attached to a neck. Wipe the leather down after use and dry the chain so it does not spot, and hang the whole thing rather than coiling it in a drawer where the chain will kink.

Matching the lead to the rest of an Anaconda set is the small thing that makes a collection look deliberate rather than assembled from whatever was in stock. Burgundy in particular is a colour almost nobody else offers.
