Scandal Round Double Paddle

A round, dual sided paddle measuring eleven by five inches with an adjustable wrist tie, double stitched throughout. Round and wide spreads the impact over a broad area, which makes this a thud rather than a sting.

Broad paddles build heat gradually, so this is a forgiving place to begin and a good one for warming up before anything sharper. Stay on the backside and the thighs and keep well away from the spine, kidneys and tailbone. The adjustable wrist tie means you can loosen your grip between strikes without putting it down. Wipe it down after a session and store it flat so the round face does not take a curl.

Narrow paddles concentrate force and mark quickly, which is a lot to ask of a first session. A wide round face gives you volume and impact without the sharpness, and the wrist tie is the detail that makes a long scene comfortable.
