Sex and Mischeif Riding Crop

A compact riding crop at seventeen inches, in black. Seventeen inches is short for a crop, which makes it far easier to control in a bedroom than the twenty four and thirty inch versions the category usually offers.

Short means accurate, so this is the crop to learn on, although a cushion is still the right place to practise. Keep strikes to the backside and thighs and well clear of the spine, kidneys, tailbone and neck. Build up in small steps and check in more often than feels necessary, since a crop builds heat faster than it looks like it should. Wipe it down after a session and hang it rather than storing it bent.

Long crops carry speed and punish a bad aim. At seventeen inches this one is slow enough to place precisely and short enough to use in a normal room, which makes it a genuinely sensible first crop.
