Keep strikes to the backside and the thighs and well clear of the spine, kidneys and tailbone. The mark fades within an hour or so and is not permanent. Wipe it down after a session and store it flat so the cut out letters keep their edges. A flat strike on a fleshy area is what produces a clean impression rather than a blurred one. Check in often, since an impression paddle needs more force than a plain one to leave its mark.

Ordinary paddles deliver a sensation and nothing else. A cut out impression leaves something behind for a while, and it contains no animal products, which is stated plainly and is rarer in this category than it should be.
