A twelve inch black vinyl paddle with a red XOXO design that leaves an impression behind. Black vinyl with red lettering is the sharper looking of the two colourways this paddle comes in.

An impression needs a firm, flat strike on a fleshy area, which takes a little practice on a cushion first. Keep strikes to the backside and thighs and clear of the spine, kidneys and tailbone. The mark fades within an hour or so and is not permanent. Check in more often than usual, since an impression paddle needs more force than a plain one. Wipe it down and store it flat. The mark is temporary and fades on its own, which is worth saying to anyone trying one for the first time. Practise on a cushion until the strike lands flat rather than at an angle, since an angled hit smudges the letters.

The pink version of this paddle is the softer looking one. Black vinyl with a red design reads as considerably more serious, which for some people is the whole difference between the two.
